New security measures against bike theft
Bicycle owners can get added protection from bike thieves in Commercial Road on June 8th from 10am to 4pm by Portsmouth Police.
The police have joined forces with the council trading standards office to offer a service to the public to help in retrieving stolen bikes and ward thieves from stealing them in the first place. The vehicle marking system will allow the authorities to carry out a better search and investigate in the event of a theft.
