HorsesThis year has seen all three teams of Equestrian having successfully competed in several competitions throughout with several individual placings. The year started off well at A team’s home competition against Southampton, Southampton Solent and Surrey with one of our first years, Emily Nicholson being placed 2nd.

Varsity 2016 saw a huge improvement in performance from the girls, with a very close finish of only five penalties between Portsmouth and Southampton. We also gained individual placings for the day with Charlotte Jose being placed second, president Celeste Mott 4th, Bethan Yeo 5th and Esther Amos 8th.

A team captain Esther Amos commented: “This year has been very successful for all teams, with good results for everyone. All the teams worked together to ensue competitions ran well with home competitions being expertly run by our BUCS captain.”

BUCS captain Emily Ager added: “I’m so proud of all the teams with their commitment and dedication to their training and it’s really paid off with varsity being one of the highlights of the year as we have improved hugely on last year’s scoring. All teams are immensely happy with their group and individual success.”
