Is anyone there?

‘Morning’ Journal, written with inverted commas as one rarely produces them when it is still the morning. Every day is met with a profound idea – yearning, with zeal, to reveal itself to you, reading this. Yet today, the opposite is certainly true.

Closing my eyes, I beg my consciousness, “what shall I share with the world?” Eyes clenched like a fist, fingers impatiently gliding optimistically over the keyboard, heart beating increasingly, as if anticipating something transcendent.

Alas – nothing. Brain death – almost. “Hello, is anyone there?”

I have something to prove. That creativity is never constrained. That it can arise from anyplace, anytime.

Alas – nothing. Brain death – almost. “Hello, is anyone there?”

‘Almost’, because amid all of that a miracle manifested. A realisation. A revelation. A revolution.

And it all made sense. And someone was, in-fact home, all along! This is what he said.
