£3.3m grant improves graduate prospects
Graduate prospects around Portsmouth improved this week as University Partnerships were awarded £3.3 million for a development known as The Cell Block Project.

Portsmouth City Council have introduced a new parking scheme coming into action on the 21st November in Southsea, the heart of Portsmouth. The scheme will be in operation seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day and will affect popular student roads that fall into the ‘MB Zone’ including Telephone Road, Manners Road, Orchard Road, as well as others nearby.
University confirm workshop closures and job losses
The ceramics and small metals workshops are due to close at the end of July 2012 in a restructure of the arts department which will result in 16 staff losing their jobs.
