I agree it is annoying, especially for those who live in Langstone, but I would say that for a free service it is more than ample. I have studied at another University prior to coming to Portsmouth, and the buses were every 30 mins. Add to this the fact that there was no safe pedestrian route into town which was at least a twenty minute drive so would be a ridiculous walk, and they stopped at 5pm. There should maybe be alterations, so perhaps a bus which just shuttles to and from Langstone, and one which heads to Southsea (and maybe the seafront where an increasing number of students now live!)- the payment is good in theory, but then you pay less to live at Langstone due to the location, paying an extra fee a week surely means that it would make more sense to consider living nearer to town? And when house hunting price is also often affected by location, so if you choose to live close to town, why should you subsidise the bus when you already pay that extra amount a week to live close? The key perhaps is encouraging more people to cycle in where possible, or to walk, and to keep the bus free for those who really need it. Running into the night I think may be a bit beyond the call of duty for a University bus, for one who would want it to be possilby covered in puke and alcohol, and secondly, it is not up to them to fund our social lives.

Hi Hannah. Janie Bryant is the Costume Designer of Mad Men. She is not a stylist. Can you please correct the article. She did indeed provide wardrobe to create characters for the album cover for the Puppini Sisters. Appreciate if you can make this correction.

Thank you.

I'm currently studying Language & Linguistics at university, and I absolutely adore it, and hopefully it'll lead to my dream job, but I live with two Physicists, and they mock me all the time because their subject is a Science, and mine only a Social Science. ¬_¬
They're joking but it makes me feel so inferior. So I know exactly what you're referring to here *sigh*.

I understand what you are saying Jason, but if you compare the track to older songs, say 'Davidian' or 'Death Church', then the repetition is a lot less. The song is not composed of one riff. Thanks for the criticism though.

"As part of the these changes..." What was that about becoming more professional, including spelling and grammar? Not to mention, "Many of you will be fond of, or even attached, to the name Pugwash News." Perhaps the change is a bit premature.

It is important, and obviously it is the origin of the name, but this post was more focussed on why we're changing the name, rather than the reasons for changing it to The Galleon specifically.

We're planning a feature looking back at the original issue, and will go into more detail about it in the first issue.

I found this particular statement bizarre: "Track one, ‘I Am Hell’ will instantly become a ferocious, 9 minute metal anthem: Without an ounce of repetition, the song flows through at one hundred miles per hour and leaves you feeling extremely pumped for the rest of the album." Without an ounce of repetition? There's an obvious leitmotif which repeats through the song several times. Did the reviewer listen to the songs just the once?
